Biography

Dr. Bowman has been a member of the faculty since 1984. His interests have focused on state of the art cataract surgery and intraocular lens implantation. He has been a frequent speaker and instructor for a variety of cataract surgery courses and well as a lecturer, trainer and investigator for VISX excimer laser. He has been very active in refractive surgery including LASIK and the IntraLase. The combination of cataract surgery and keratorefractive surgery has led him to be very active with newer introcular lenses such as the ReStor for the correction of presbyopia and refractive lens exchange.
