Our research focuses on behavioral responses to drugs of abuse in Drosophila melanogaster. Specifically, we are interested in small GTPase genes and proteins. We investigate how they regulate the actin cytoskeleton, and thereby flies’ response to alcohol. We also study the mechanism and biology of rewards.
