Major focus of my research is to investigate molecular mechanism of glioblastoma (GBM) cell invasion and angiogenesis. One of the major reasons for unsuccessful GBM treatment by current therapies is that these cells diffusively invade and infiltrate into the surrounding brain and aggressively develop the angiogenic vessels. Our goal is to build a novel therapeutic strategy for GBM treatment.
