Our bladder cancer research working group focuses on identification of molecular marker predictors of bladder cancer behavior, risk, and response to treatment. Categorization of groups of maker abnormalities may identify patients who are at highest risk for recurrence and death due to bladder cancer, may offer insight into more effective followup by risk group, and may offer unique therapy for specific groups of patients.
