Our research is conducted both in basic science and patient-oriented research. Basic research is centered on renal physiology, metabolism, and epithelial biology. Patient-oriented research is focused on the pathophysiology of nephrolithiasis. We strive to cross from the level of the whole patient, to animal and cell culture models, and down to single molecules.
