Raju Meyappan joined the Divisions of Critical Care and Cardiology on August 1, 2006. Dr. Meyappan received his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College, majoring in Pediatrics. He then studied medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency in Pediatrics at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New York. Departing the northeast, he embarked on his fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at Miami Children’s Hospital, and following 3 years there, undertook a 4th year fellowship in cardiac intensive care in teh same institution. He expects to devote the bulk of his attending efforts in the Cardiac ICU, but will also maintain a presence in general intensive care.
