Dr. Carlson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Critical Care, graduated in 1989 from The State University of New York College at Fredonia with a BS in recombinant gene technology, and a minor in chemistry. She completed work for a Ph.D. in 1996 from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Roswell Park Division in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
