Dr. Weatherall graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University, with a B.S. in Biology, and obtained his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Weatherall caught MRI fever early in his medical career and as a research assistant he helped work on the installation of the 5th magnet in the country in 1982. After completing a Diagnostic Radiology residency, at the Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Weatherall traveled to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas for his MRI Fellowship training. He was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1987. Dr. Weatherall is a MRI Specialist, with more specific clinical and research interests involving the MRI evaluation of joints, extremities, spine, breast and vascular disease.
