Dr. Palacios serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern. He is Board certified in Family Medicine as well as Primary Care Sports Medicine. He enjoys seeing the full spectrum of patients in family medicine including geriatric as well as pediatric patients. In addition, he serves as a team physician for several local high schools and colleges. He has developed a sports medicine clinic in the UT Southwestern Family Practice Residency Clinic and additionally sees pediatric orthopedic patients in the Children's Medical Center Pediatric Orthopedic clinic. His research interests are in primary care sports medicine. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the Texas Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine.
