Dr. Garner is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Critical Care. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1992 with a B.A in Biology. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1996. She subsequently completed both a general pediatric residency and pediatric critical care fellowship at UTSW/Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. She is currently on staff as a clinician in the Children’s Medical Center PICU and serves as director of PICU resident and medical student education.
