Dr. Kathleen Delaney is Professor of Surgery and Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and Vice Chair of the Division of Emergency Medicine Department. She is also currently the Medical Director for the Parkland Hospital Emergency Department. Dr. Delaney graduated AOA from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in 1980 and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York University-Bellevue Hospital Center, followed by a fellowship in Medical Toxicology. She served as the Assistant Director of the Bellevue Hospital Emergency Department from 1985-1994. She is boarded in Internal Medicine, Medical Toxicology, and Emergency Medicine and is a fellow of the colleges of each. Dr. Delaney came to UT Southwestern Medical faculty in 1994 to help establish a residency training program in Emergency Medicine.
