Valerie Branch is the Clinical Research Manager for the Rheumatic Diseases Division and directs the Arthritis Educator Program. As Clinical Research Manager, Ms. Branch oversees the general operations of rheumatology clinical research, including study feasibility assessment, initial contract/budget negotiations, and IRB initial submissions. In her capacity with the Arthritis Educator Program, she led the development of an international medical education program that enables persons with arthritis to teach musculoskeletal examination skills to health care professionals and physicians-in-training. This program has been marketed and implemented by Ms. Branch in Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand and in nine medical schools in the United States. Ms. Branch has been published in both industry and peer review journals.
Ms. Branch earned a M.S. in Health Care Administration from Texas Woman’s University, and a M.B.A. from the University of Dallas.
