Costs
There is no tuition cost for the Prosthetics-Orthotics Residency Program. If you’re accepted, you’ll be an employee of UT Southwestern. The program will cover the cost of educational programming and attendance at the annual meeting of the Texas Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotists&Prosthetists. You’ll also receive standard benefits, including full medical and liability insurance coverage, and accrued paid time off. Textbooks, journal subscriptions, the application fee for student registration with the Texas Board of Orthotics and Prosthetics, and other costs will be your responsibility. We can’t guarantee continued employment beyond the residency program year.
