Senior Medical Student Electives
The Department of Radiology offers students three senior elective courses in partnership with the medical school:
- Diagnostic Radiology (RAD 1501)
- Nuclear Medicine (RAD 1504)
- Vascular and Interventional Radiology (RAD 1505)
Residency
The ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program in the Department of Radiology is one of the largest in the nation, including 52 resident positions over the four-year program. In addition, there are three dedicated ACGME-accredited Nuclear Medicine residency positions.

Fellowship
Post-residency training is offered in a multitude of fellowship opportunities, including both ACGME and Texas Medical Board (TMB) accredited programs:

- Abdominal Imaging – TMB-accredited
- Breast Imaging – TMB-accredited

- Thoracic Imaging – TMB-accredited
