Radiologist - Board certified, fellowship-trained, Texas licensed candidate to provide critical care, in-patient and out-patient chest film interpretation, chest CT and trauma and various thoracic interventional procedures. Both general chest CT and trauma chest CT call is required. Faculty are also expected to participate in various medical student and diagnostic radiology residency lectures as well as various multidisciplinary conferences. Qualified applicants must have an MD degree, and be a fellowship trained musculoskeletal radiologist and/or trauma radiologist. Opportunities for research are available and encouraged. Clinical responsibilities are centered at Parkland Hospital covering all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging including trauma imaging in the Emergency Department, and has close relations with Orthopaedics, Trauma Surgery, and the Emergency Department. All modalities are covered by the service, including musculoskeletal procedures and biopsies. Equipment is state-of-the-art.
