Associate Professor or Professor

Candidate must be Board certified in diagnostic radiology with completion of a minimum of one (1) year of training in an ACGME-accredited fellowship in neuroradiology. Board eligibility in neuroradiology is required, with Board certification preferable. The candidate will be expected to be superior in all aspects of diagnostic neuroradiology and capable of teaching CT, angiography, myelography, and MRI to radiology residents and neuroradiology fellows. Academic productivity is encouraged, and extensive clinical and research experience will be viewed favorably. An important responsibility of the new Director of Neuroradiology will be the development of a premier translational imaging research program.

Qualified applicants must have an M.D. degree, and be a fellowship trained musculoskeletal radiologist and/or trauma radiologist. Opportunities for research are available and encouraged. Clinical responsibilities are centered at Parkland Memorial Hospital covering all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging including trauma imaging in the Emergency Department, and has close relations with Orthopaedics, Trauma Surgery, and the Emergency Department. All modalities are covered by the service, including musculoskeletal procedures and biopsies. Equipment is state-of-the-art.
