Patient Care in Radiation Oncology
UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Department of Radiation Oncology ranks among the top radiation treatment centers in the United States, combining truly compassionate patient care with the latest, most advanced radiation treatment technology.
The Department is the only academic radiation oncology program in North Texas – the only facility where physicians work hand-in-hand with full-time researchers to further understand cancer and develop effective new tools to combat the disease.
The Department’s clinics at UT Southwestern are located in the W.A. Monty & Tex Moncrief Radiation Oncology Building and the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. Gamma Knife and CyberKnife treatments take place at the Annette Simmons Stereotactic Center at Zale Lipshy University Hospital.
