Diego Castrillon, M.D., Ph.D.

Diego Castrillon, M.D., Ph.D., was awarded a generous donation of $150,000 from the David M. Crowley Foundation in February 2015 to support his cancer research. 

Ram Mani, Ph.D.

Ram Mani, Ph.D., received a New Investigator Award in Cancer Research from the American Cancer Society and the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center in December 2014. This supports his research entitled, “Integrative analysis of genomic rearrangements in prostate cancer,” with $40,000 funding for one year. 

Weibo Luo, Ph.D., received an R00 Pathway to Independence Award from the NIH/National Cancer Institute in December 2014. This is a 3-year award of $461,939, which will support his research, “The role of JMJD2C in HIF-1 activation and breast cancer progress."

Yingfei Wang, Ph.D., received an R00 Pathway to Independence Award from the NIH/National Cancer Institute in January 2015. This is a 3-year award of $471,385, which will support her research, “The role of a novel AIF-associated nuclease PAAN1 in neuronal injury."
