The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has the following faculty positions available. Obstetrics and Gynecology – Gynecologist – Assistant Professor

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a board-certified/board-active candidate physician to join its Division of Gynecology. The Division of Gynecology is an academic, teaching division responsible for the gynecologic care of patients at Parkland Memorial Hospital and the gynecologic training of all residents and medical students in our large training program. The successful candidate will be a skilled gynecologist and will have a passion for teaching surgery and providing evidence-based clinical care. The Department has a long-standing commitment to research, so participation in the ongoing research activities of the division, as well as the development of independent research is encouraged and supported. This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to develop a career in all facets of academic benign gynecology including clinical care, education and research.

Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery – Assistant Professor – Full Time

Full-time position available to qualified applicant who has completed fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and is either board certified or an active candidate with ABOG. Must have or be eligible for Texas medical licensure. Responsibilities will include patient care at UT Southwestern University Hospitals and Clinics and Parkland Health and Hospital System as well as participation in graduate, undergraduate, and continuing medical education efforts. Applicants must be skilled in the latest surgical and non-surgical treatments for urogynecological problems and have an interest in clinical research. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.

Gynecologic Oncologist – Assistant Professor – Full Time

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas has the following faculty position available. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, an approved fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology, and have attained or be eligible for Texas medical licensure and certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Salary and academic rank commensurate with candidate’s background and experience.

Successful candidate will join a dynamic division of four Gynecologic Oncologists with an ACGME-approved fellowship in gynecologic oncology and full membership in NRG Oncology and GOG Partners. Division faculty are expected to be full members of the UT Southwestern Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center – the only NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in North Texas where the Division provides leadership for the Gynecologic Disease Oriented Team. Responsibilities will include the full spectrum of gynecologic oncology patient-care services at UT Southwestern University Hospitals and Clinics and Parkland Health and Hospital System as well as instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows. Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division Chief and Vice-Chair – Professor – Full Time

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, seeks a Vice Chair to assist the department chair in fulfilling the clinical, educational, and academic missions of the department. It is expected that this individual will be especially focused on the obstetrical programs within the department and will provide leadership for the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. The successful candidate will be board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and will have a proven record of significant accomplishment in obstetrical research. Obstetrician Gynecologist – Assistant Professor – Full or Part Time

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, seeks to fill a position in its Generalist Division. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with candidate’s academic accomplishments and experience. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and providing evidence-based clinical care. Principal clinical assignment will be to help further our efforts to grow a premier obstetrics and gynecology university-based practice. The remainder of the assignment will be dedicated to administrative and teaching functions. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full time schedule.

Candidates must have an M.D. degree, have completed an accredited internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology and be eligible for Texas medical licensure.
