Open Faculty Positions

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has the following faculty positions available. Applicants for clinical positions must have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and be eligible for Texas licensure. Salary and academic rank commensurate with candidate's background and experience.

Pediatric-Adolescent Gynecology – Assistant Professor – Full Time

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks an obstetrician-gynecologist with special expertise in pediatric and adolescent gynecology to join a Pediatric/Adolescent Gynecology Program in conjunction with Children’s Health℠. Principal responsibilities will be to provide excellent direct patient care; teach medical students, residents, and fellows; and help expand a signature program for children and adolescents in our community and beyond. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and providing evidence-based clinical care. Academic rank will be awarded at the level of Assistant Professor.

Candidates must have an M.D. degree; have completed an accredited internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology; and be eligible for Texas licensure. Also required is board certification in obstetrics and gynecology or an active candidate with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility – Assistant Professor – Full Time

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). The applicant should either be an active candidate or certified diplomate in the subspecialty of REI by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The candidate should have excellent clinical and communication skills. The responsibilities include full-time clinical practice in an academic setting at a state-of-the-art facility; active participation in helping the Department grow a premier ART program both on campus as well as at strategic off-campus location(s); providing attending faculty supervision for resident REI clinics and clinical services at Parkland Health & Hospital System; and participation in the teaching of fellows, residents, medical students, and allied health professionals. The candidate should also be interested in participating in the research activities and academic collaborative efforts within the Division and Department.

The Division is looking for an energetic faculty member dedicated to the clinical and academic visions of the institution. Close mentoring and strong institutional support will be provided. Academic rank will be awarded at the level of Assistant Professor. Upcoming and recent REI fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.  

Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the United States as a citizen or permanent resident; have an M.D. degree; have completed an accredited fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility; and be eligible for Texas licensure. Also required is board certification in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility or an active candidate with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
