The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has the following faculty positions available. Applicants for clinical positions must have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and be eligible for Texas licensure. Salary and academic rank commensurate with candidate's background and experience.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine - Assistant/Associate Professor - Full Time

M.D. degree and completion of accredited Ob/Gyn residency, 3-year fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and eligibility for Texas licensure are required. The principal responsibility will be to help further develop and grow our university-based maternal-fetal medicine referral service. Other responsibilities will include graduate and undergraduate teaching and participation in departmental continuing medical education efforts.

IVF Laboratory Director: Assistant Professor/Associate Professor – Full Time

Fertility and Advanced Reproductive Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center is recruiting a full-time, Ph.D. HCLD Embryology Laboratory Director. This position requires “hands-on” involvement with all embryology, andrology, and reproductive endocrinology laboratory activities. The individual should meet or exceed the most current standards published by The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and College of American Pathologists (CAP). The director must have a Ph.D. in biological sciences with expertise in the physiology of reproduction. Successful candidates are expected to have at least three years of experience as a “hands-on embryologist” in a full service clinical assisted reproduction laboratory and be proficient in andrology, reproductive endocrinology, and embryology services. The Director is expected to perform conventional IVF, ICSI, extended embryo culture, embryo biopsy for PGD, cryopreservation, identification of testicular sperm. Experience in oocyte and embryo vitrification is also required. The individual should have proven supervisory and leadership abilities, excellent communication, research, statistical and computer skills, profound knowledge of ART certification, and laboratory accreditation standards. The candidate should have the ability to apply the new technologies and implement new services when needed.

The recently developed Fertility and Advanced Reproductive Medicine Assisted Reproduction Program is located on the sixth floor of the state-of-the-art Outpatient Building on the UT Southwestern campus. The faculty appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is available with teaching and research expectations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who would like to direct their own laboratory, supervising three other staff members in a new and growing facility at a renowned academic medical center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Opportunity will be provided to develop new programs and research in reproductive sciences. The individual will be strongly supported to become one of the leaders in the field. Gynecologic Oncology - Assistant Professor/Associate Professor – Full Time

All applicants must have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and be eligible for Texas medical licensure. Position available to applicant who has completed an approved fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology, and an active candidate with ABOG. Successful candidate will join a dynamic division with an approved fellowship in gynecologic oncology, membership in the Gynecologic Oncology Group, and a laboratory devoted to the molecular biology of gynecologic cancers. Responsibilities will include the full spectrum of gynecologic oncology patient care services at UT Southwestern University Hospitals and Clinics and Parkland Health & Hospital System as well as instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows. Applicants should be skilled in the latest diagnostic, treatment, and surgical modalities, and have an interest in clinical and/or laboratory investigation. Salary and academic rank commensurate with candidate's background and experience.
