The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has the following faculty positions available. Applicants for clinical positions must have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and be eligible for Texas licensure. Salary and academic rank commensurate with candidate's background and experience.
Obstetrics and Gynecology, Generalist – Assistant Professor – Full Time
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks to fill a part-time position in its Parkland Generalist Division at the Assistant Professor level. Principal responsibility will be to provide excellent direct patient care as well as to teach medical students, residents and fellows. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and providing evidence-based clinical care. Clinical responsibilities will include serving as an attending faculty physician in one or more of the Parkland ambulatory Women’s Health Clinics providing prenatal care, gynecologic care, and family planning services.
Candidates must have an M.D. degree; completed an accredited internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology; and have an unrestricted Texas license.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine — Assistant Professor — Full Time
UT Southwestern Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks to fill a position in its Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with candidate’s background and experience.
The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and providing evidence-based clinical care. Principal clinical assignment will be to provide clinical coverage on the obstetrical service at Parkland Memorial Hospital, and provide teaching and mentoring to our students, residents, and fellows. The remainder of the assignment will be dedicated to teaching and academic functions.
Candidates must have an M.D. degree, have completed an accredited internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology, be eligible for Texas licensure, and be board certified or an active candidate for certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
