Outstanding Faculty, Recent Honors

Amer Shakil, M.D. - Appointed to the Executive Committee of the Texeas Academy of Family Physicians, received the Special Constituency Leadership Award from the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, was appointed to be the UT representative to the American Medical Association, and served as President of the UT Southwestern’s Faculty Senate
Nora Gimpel, M.D. - Received the prestigious Innovation in Health Science Education Award from the UT Academy of Health Science Education
Dan Sepdham, M.D. - Appointed to the Medical School Admission Committee, became a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians
