Obesity Alliance Conference (TORS)
The UT Southwestern Obesity Alliance's weekly conference on metabolism, nutrition, and obesity is held at noon every Thursday on the sixth floor of the Green Science Building. The weekly conference was initiated by the Taskforce for Obesity Research (TORS) and is supported by the Center for Human Nutrition. The conferences emphasize human and translation research, but all aspects of metabolism and nutrition as related to obesity are considered. Out-of-town speakers are invited, to the extent possible. We hope that conference attendees will broadly represent the UT Southwestern faculty.
