- One student is supported by an NIH training grant
- One student is a Doris Duke Fellow
Center leaders have a long history of supporting education and training at UT Southwestern. Dr. Vitetta was the course director for the medical school Immunology course for 19 years and is past director of the Immunology graduate program.
Faculty in the Cancer Immunobiology Center lecture in several graduate school courses, as well as train several postdoctoral fellows and mentor junior faculty in Surgery and Surgical Oncology.
Additionally, each summer, Center faculty members accept two to five students from the SURF, STARS, or medical school programs for training.
