"Choosing to do my postdoctoral fellowship at UT Southwestern was a great decision. UT Southwestern has fantastic labs and a large number of core services - from rodent behavior to mass spectrometry - allowing you to do high-quality research, quickly and thoroughly. Standard of living becomes a large factor as a postdoc, and the low cost of living allows you to live quite comfortably. Plus, our Postdoctoral Affairs Office is very proactive in ensuring the professional and personal well-being - something that many other schools lack.
