Symposia
UT Southwestern Medical Center's Office of Public Education and Continuing Medical Education provides the highest quality continuing health education to physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals regionally, nationally, and internationally. Our symposia aim to promote the improvement of patient care by enhancing the skills of health care professionals in an engaging, thought-provoking environment.
Participants in our symposia will be able to apply new knowledge and skills immediately to clinical practice. Topics are selected through an extensive ongoing process of needs assessment.
For each symposium, an outstanding faculty has been assembled, with presenters who are committed to providing participants with evidence-based, current, and practical information. Faculty members are selected based on their individual areas of expertise, their ability to communicate first-hand knowledge to others in a clear and concise manner, their commitment to address issues of current concern, and their willingness to interact with participants.
