Parking Citations

Uniformed Parking Enforcement Officers can assist you by answering your questions and providing help to stranded motorists. Parking Enforcement Officers will monitor the entrances and exits of lots and garages, and enforce parking policies in lots, garages, and street parking.

Effective September 1, 2011, Parking citations for Fiscal Year 2012 will be issued for:

Illegal use of patient parking validations	$250
Unauthorized parking in handicap zone	$150
Fraudulent decal/permit/hang tag	$250
Parking on campus property while parking privileges are suspended	$150
Parking in fire lane	$100
Parking in patient areas	$100
Blocking loading docks/dumpsters	$100
Unauthorized parking in dock area	$100
Unauthorized parking in reserved space	$100
Invalid decal/hang tag	$50
Decal/Hang tag not visible	$50
Parking in "No-Parking" zone	$50
Unauthorized parking in visitor/official guest areas	$50
Unauthorized parking, miscellaneous	$50
Exceeded time limit	$50
Improperly displayed decal	$50
Transfer of decal/hangtag not valid	$50
Reactivation of parking card	$35

Individuals who repeatedly abuse parking privileges or have unpaid fines are subject to revocation of parking privileges.

Persons receiving parking citations should pay fines at one of the Parking Services offices within 30 days of receiving the citation or appeal the citation. A late fee of $15 will be applied after 30 days. You must provide Parking Services with the citation number when you pay.

Owner of vehicle will be placed in "suspended" status if citations remain unpaid for more than 90 days.
