Executive Women in Texas Government
The Executive Women in Texas Government (EWTG) is a non-profit organization of dedicated individuals devoted to developing and encouraging women in Texas government and higher education by offering opportunities for professional growth, education, and advancement. The Dallas Affiliate was chartered in 1996 and began offering interactive meetings with informative speakers to assist members with networking and development. Membership in EWTG is open to all UT Southwestern Medical Center employees. Learn more here.
Texas Diversity Council
The Texas Diversity Council is comprised of corporations and institutions of higher learning that are engaged in promoting an ongoing dialogue on the importance of diversity, in the workplace, and fostering environments for organizations to grow in their knowledge of diversity. The Texas Diversity Council offers great opportunities for organizations to learn from some of the top corporate leaders in the area of diversity. The Texas Diversity Council is currently made up of five Councils throughout the state of Texas. The Councils serve the greater Metropolitan Areas of Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Corpus Christi. Other diversity Councils are located in California and Florida. Women in Science and Medicine Advisory Committee
WISMAC is a UT Southwestern institutional standing committee composed of appointed representatives of the faculty, administration, fellows, and student body. The committee provides advice and initiatives on issues related to women in science and medicine, with the ultimate goal to improve UT Southwestern for everyone.
