Advisory Committees

• Women in Science and Medicine Advisory Committee (WISMAC) is a UT Southwestern Medical Center institutional standing committee formed in 1994. It is composed of appointed representatives of the faculty, administration, fellows, and student body. In the past 18 years, it has championed for women in science and medicine at UT Southwestern. With the formation of OWC in 2012, WISMAC will collaborate with OWC on selected projects. It will also organize several independent projects.
• The Committee on the Advancement of Women (CAW) was formed in 1997 to advise the UT Southwestern President regarding issues related to the advancement of women faculty on campus.
