Benefits and Insurance

As a benefits-eligible UT Southwestern employee working 30 hours or more a week, you can get health insurance at no cost for yourself, excellent rates for dependent coverage, plus dental/vision insurance, and other voluntary benefits for you and your benefits-eligible dependents.

Annual Enrollment for Benefits (July 15-31) allows benefits-eligible employees to enroll or make changes for the upcoming plan year (effective Sept. 1). If changes are not made during Annual Enrollment, changes cannot be made until the next Annual Enrollment, unless a qualifying Life Event occurs. (Mid-year changes require action within 31 days of a qualifying Life Event.)
