Disease Oriented Teams

The Simmons Cancer Center has organized 10 disease-oriented teams to facilitate clinical research on specific types of cancer. Each team consists of senior cancer center physicians, scientists and clinical research staff who are committed to cutting-edge discoveries in the area of cancer research. They meet on a regular basis to discuss progress in clinical research within their area, and to develop unique and innovative cancer therapy, prevention and diagnosis. These teams are all linked directly to the superior cancer care provided through UT Southwestern’s Patient Care Programs.
